Careers

Where going to work feels like coming home.

We’re growing fast, so we’re always happy to hear from people who are interested in joining our team. If you think you might be a good match for us, please review the job openings below or email your cover letter and resume to our Executive Producer, Hannah Soto.

Regardless of it you want to join our team or if you want to hire us, you should know: We live out our values every day: and that includes in our stand against racism.

We Stand Against Racism and in Support of the Black Community

We realize that anti-racism efforts are bigger than just the Black Lives Matter organization and PR-inspired initiatives. We commit to pushing for opportunities, access and safety for Black people in equal and equitable ways.

From day one, Grey House Productions has striven to create and celebrate diverse environments in every way possible. However, the aftermath of George Floyd’s death has opened our eyes to an urgent need to do more, and better, to support the Black community and stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. To that end, we pledge full transparency in our accountability and actions toward supporting anti-racism and dismantling white supremacy. Here’s how:

  • Tracking diversity in the crew and vendors we hire, but also by using our spending to specifically support Black-owned businesses and makers, and encourage our production partners to do the same.
  • Defunding bad-news brands that don’t support the BLM movement, or otherwise demonstrate anti-Blackness through their actions, statements, donations or affiliations, and instead vote with our wallets to support companies who support the cause.
  • Funding good-news organizations on a recurring basis. Our 2020 annual benefactors are Black & Brown Founders, Black Girls Code, and UndocuBlack.
  • Pledging to do better via orgs that push us to do the most good, including Change The Lens, The Allyship & Action Pledge, and The Anti-Racist Small Business Pledge.

Fall Internships

We are looking for smart and savvy interns!

Our interns are just as much a part of #TeamGreyHouse as our full-timers and freelancers. Many of our employees today started with us as interns! And while an internship doesn’t guarantee employment, we are always looking to add talent to the team.

We accept interns who are seeking college credit hours, and/or those who want to work outside of academic requirements.

Experience in production is not required, after all, a new experience is one of the key benefits of an internship.

As an Intern, you will balance supporting our team in production, marketing, and business operations first hand, while also adding valuable career experience to your resume. Trust us, this won’t be an internship where you get coffee and stay out of important meetings. We look for candidates who want to get their hands dirty and can wear many hats, rather than focus on one role or specialty. For that reason, we don’t focus our internships on one category. Do you want to dive into Video Editing? Digital Marketing? Business Operations? Human Resources? Public Relations? Great!! And, you will also be exposed to a variety of roles on set.

Our ideal candidate is savvy, detail-oriented, and rarely flustered. Things change fast in our office so we’ll need you to move fast too, and work well under pressure.

To apply

  • Send your resume and cover letter as a PDF document to info (at) greyhouseproductions (dot) com
  • We will only review emailed applications that have the following subject line: “Fall 2020: I’m your intern”
  • You must apply by Sept 30th, 2020
  • In the cover letter please share what you want to gain through an internship with Grey House Productions, what area(s) you’d like to focus on, and why.

Studio Manager

We are looking for a project manager with a touch of marketing savvy!

As Studio Manager, your job first and foremost will be to seamlessly juggle short and long-term priorities in an environment with frequent interruptions. On any given day, you will be working on tasks for multiple productions, and on items that keep the company functioning efficiently. You will also aid in the growth of the business by working with our Executive Producer to follow up with new business leads and execute marketing plans.

Our ideal candidate is savvy, detail-oriented, and rarely flustered. Things change fast in our office so we’ll need you to move fast too, and work well under pressure.

Experience working in production and/or in an administrative role is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
