Careers in Photography

I’m excited to be one of the panelist for the upcoming “Careers in Photography” event on March 10th! Melissa Hennessy and the Portfolio Center at Columbia College Chicago continue to offer programs to help students make well-informed career choices. As a student at Columbia I attended many Portfolio Center events – now, as alumni, I am excited to take part in the industry events and contribute to programming offered by the college.

For every student who thinks (or knows) they don’t have to be the photographer to make an impact on the photography industry, there are plenty of art buyers, producers, photo editors, digital techs, agents, stylists, gallery owners and curators to validate that career path!

Join us Tuesday, March 10th as we hear from a panel of artists who began their careers as photographers and went on to find fulfillment & reward in other areas of the photo industry.  Each will speak about their past roles in the industry and how they arrived in their current & very supportive roles in our photo community.

Tuesday, March 10th
